How Bail Bonds Saved My Life

Bail Bonds Can Keep You Out Of Jail, And Give You Peace Of Mind

Last year I turned 30. To celebrate my friends took me out to dinner. We went to my favorite steak house and I had a few drinks. Rather than doing the responsible thing and call for a ride I decided to drive.

I didn’t think it would be a big deal. I hadn’t had that much to drink and I only lived ten minutes or so from where I was. Honestly I have done it 100 times before tonight and have been fine.

I didn’t make it very far before I saw the lights in my rear view mirror. There was no way out of it, I was clearly drunk even though I felt fine when I left. I tried to act cool and talk my way out of the problem but unfortunately it didn’t work.

I was arrested and taken to jail. This is where things became a problem at first. I was terrified of spending time in jail and I didn’t have the money to pay the bail that had been set . On top of it all, I only had a few sick days I could use before before I would have to be back at work.

Now don’t get me wrong. I don’t work at NASA, or in congress, or anything as important as that, but it was a job and it kept a roof over my head, and food on my table. So the thought of losing it was very worrisome.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to do. Then a friend of mine suggested a local bail bonds company. I called them and they made arrangements to get me out of jail.

I was able to get released on an ankle bracelet. So instead of staying in jail I was able to sleep in my own bed and most importantly I was able to keep my job.

I was on the ankle bracelet for three months before my case went to trial. I can not even imagine spending that time in jail. I am so thankful for being able to return to my life with very little interruption.
